I have noticed an odd "crackly’ feel when turning left or right; I think I can hear it as well. The car does not pull left or right, just this odd feel/sound. Any ideas?
Perhaps the plastic shroud on the column is touching the steering wheel.
Or the clockspring is causing the noise. Only when cold? Or when warm too.
