2003 Honda Pilot - won’t crank

2003 Honda Pilot. after putting the key in the ignition and turning to the on position, the green D will not light up, causing the vehicle to not crank. What could be the cause of this?

Try moving the shift selector to neutral, if it starts your neutral safety switch might have failed.

The shifter will not move from Park if the green D is not illuminated.

Did not know that! I tried google, only found information on blinking D light, nothing on your problem.

The only thought I have is your battery is too low or other electrical issue.

Maybe another responder to your post will have an idea, good luck.

If you discover the cause, please post back with solution.

Off topic question . How does your employer feel about you using company email to converse on a forum. It puts your title and contact number on an open sight.

Considering I need a car for work and answer my phone, I don’t believe there is an issue with an individual’s vehicle to get to work and said individual is trying to repair their vehicle… it shouldn’t be an issue. Thanks for helping in my issue. ‘preciate it.
