2003 GMC pickup

I have a 2003 GMC pickup 2500 series with a 6.0 liter gasoline engine in it. Has about 100k miles on it and lately I noticed that the engine turns over a lot more when starting than it use to,. Can you tell me what might be causing this problem.m thanks

Try this. Turn the key to the run position for a few seconds. Then turn it to off. Repeat this a couple of times. Then try to start it. If this makes it start like it did before, you probably have fuel pressure/pump problem.

Change the plugs if they have never been out. I agree with the first post.
