What is the proper maintenance for the automatic transmission of a 2003 Ford Focus? Drain only or have it flushed by a dealer or reputable shop? The manual says to do it at 30,000 miles and the dealer wants “around $130.00” to do it. I’m an extreme DIYer. Doable or give it to the pro’s?
Drain and refill every 25k. I wouldnt flush unless the fluid is contaminated.
