I just bought car but the odometer doesn’t light up so can’t see the mileage. It is operated by fuse, bulb?
Your car is old enough that is hopefully still has bulbs for the gauges.
I would think you could remove the cluster fairly easily with a few basic tools?
This is one of those nuisance problems that many vehicles have. Why do you “need” to see the mileage in the dark?
