I can no longer see/read the mileage on the odometer of my 03 Saturn L200. All other dash instruments are properly displayed/lighted, but there is no light illuminating the mileage. Is this a lightbulb or something more sinister? When I called the mechanic, he said he would need about 3 hours time. Is that realistic?
Very labor-intensive and not worth fixing if this is the only problem.
Probably only a burned out bulb. To repair, the instrument cluster must come out.
I don’t know how hard or easy it is to remove the instrument cluster on your Saturn L200. It may be trivial or it may be difficult. You can find out by visiting one of Saturn specialty forums.
