I have a 2002 mitsubishi lancer evolution it has 200 thousand miles on it and when ever I let it set in idle for like 2 to 3 min it overheats but it is fine when I’m driving. I have replaced the thermostat and radiator.
Have you made sure the cooling fan is cycling on when the temp gets up around 200 or so?
