2004 Mitsubishi Lancer temp gauge

Recently had the radiator, thermostat, and water pump replaced. But I’ve now noticed that when I’ve driven for around 10 minutes or so the temperature gauge will start to go up when the car idles (at a stop sign, red light, etc.) I’ve checked the fans and they seem to be working fine. I tried bleeding any air out of the system, but that doesn’t seem to be the issue. I’ve taken it to the guys at Midas twice now, and they always call back saying they can’t get the car to overheat. What is going on here? I feel like I’m losing my mind.

Wrong place, wrong guys, not very good mechanics.

So how high does it get? Into the red? I’d guess you still have some air left in it. You need to find someone who can actually bleed it, not just Midasize it, in my opinion.
