The DRL (Daylight Running Lights) dashboard light is on most of the time (and the DRL are off). The dashboard DRL liight goes off intermittently, but will also go off when I turn on the headlights. Is this an issue that needs to be resolved? Does it just affect the DRL or will it cause other problems? Is fixing it (replacing the DRL control module?) a DiY project?
First, make sure both your high beam bulbs are working.If they are, remove the DRL relay circuit board located somewhere under the dash. You need to solder the relay back on the board to fix the issue.Check this video for the fix
