My 2001 Honda Odyssey van was recently shipped from MA to sunny FL. Upon arrival there was a very loud rumbling sound coming from the tires. My (new)mechanic has diagnosed the problem as worn wheel bearings. Could these have been damaged by the moving truck; e.g., strapping down to tightly?
I don’t think that shipping would damage the wheel bearings, but it could damage other things. Your mechanic should look a little closer.
