Don’t know how to turn off the side lamps.
What are you calling the side lamps ? Do you mean interior reading lights ? Your owners manual should help you with this problem.

Do you mean this one ?
It comes on with the parking/headlights, no way to turn just it off
Or is that a cornering light that comes on with the turn signals ?
Suggest to not drive at night with side marker lights turned off; those lights required by law, may get a traffic ticket.
I prefer to have my side marker lights off while parked overnight.
