When I tryt to use my remote start sometimes it clicks once really loudly and the shuts down. Is this the vendix on the starter? When I use the key I never have any problems.
You may have a dirty/loose cable or wire connection.
I don’t know if a vendix is a after market gadget or OEM, but especially if it is after market you should be aware that they (after market units) often fail.
I might suggest that generally it is hard on a car to start it and let it idle to warm up, but if you really like getting into a warm car and don’t mind some inconveniences and cost from time to time, it is fine with me.
If you want to work on it yourself, it means checking out all the wiring related to the unit. Not all the complex, but it can be time consuming.
I think he means the starter Bendix, not vendix. (typo)
He said the starter works fine when he uses the key.
I’ll bet the remote is the guilty one.
