can not get car out of park when the car is started. can only move shifter out of park when key is in the acc position. any thoughts?
Does the steering wheel unlock when the car is started? Do you need to depress the brake before shifting out of park? More details?
The steering wheel does unlock and you do have to depress the brake to shift once car is started. We are getting around the problem by moving the key to the acc position and the shift will engage to neutral where we then start the car. The problem just occurred today with no warning.
Sorry I’m not really up on Infinity. I would call a local shop or dealer in the morning. This could be either electrical or mechanical. Please post when you identify the cause.
