1994 Dodge Dakota wipers won't work

My 94 Dakota wipers suddenly quit working recently. They were performing normally and stop working with no indication of a problem. I can hear the motor humming as though it is trying to function but no movement of the blades whatsoever. ALso, the windshield cleaning fluid only sprays from one side. Thanks.
