windshield wipers work and then quit. start working again for no apparent reason
I’d start looking for a loose electrical connection somewhere.
There may be some sort of overload switch that shuts off the wiper motor to prevent it from burning out, such as if you tried to operate the wipers when they were frozen to the windshield in winter. If so, that switch might be bad.
Doesn’t this vehicle have really BIG wipers? It’s possible the wiper motor is getting tired. How old is the vehicle?
thanks for your suggestions.I reached around behind the wiper motor and Jiggled the wires and the wipers started working. If that doesn’t fis it permanently, I at least knoe where to look Thanks
