3 weeeks ago what I think is the pressure sensor on top of the EGR valve melted into a pile of goop. I replaced it with a new one within aweek it also melted. Could the EGR valve be leaking exhaust gas into the sensor or am I looking for an electrical problem, where do I start?
Start with the EGR valve. There’s not enough current to the DPFE sensor to cause it to melt.
