Can anyone direct me to a source for a face plate for and am/fm/cd radio for a 1992 Volvo 740. Suggestions are welcome.
So you bought a replacement radio and you want a face plate that adapts it to fit the hole in the dash, right? The original radio in a '92 would not have been a CD, I don’t think.
I got mine at the stereo installation shop around back of the Best Buy store. It cost about $25 and included a set of different Volvo face plate adapters. The result looks nearly perfect. I would expect that any stereo installation shop would have such adapters that they would sell you. I don’t have the package anymore so I cannot tell you the brand so you could look for it on line. Crutchfield might have them.
