I was changing my air filter and broke off a plastic piece of the cover. The little piece fell to the side somewhere and a day later my AC vibrates when I turn it on high and continues to vibrate when just the fan is on. I’m thinking it’s the blow motor, do I have to replace the whole thing?
If anything fell into the blower fan, it can knock its balance off and cause it to vibrate.
Drop the blower motor and see if there’s anything inside the fan.
