I didn’t said anywhere that I’ve done only one test, I run 10 tests for each and 1 second difference was the average
- You will not find many people here that have installed this silly device for everyday driving. // this confirms you didn’t understood. I already explained that tuning is not important here (box, ecu remap or any kind)
- Most people will find spending about $300.00 for a 1 second gain is foolish // I don’t remember asking you what you think about the money I gave on this device. Even if I paid $ 500, that’s not what I was asking about.
- You are not getting the responses you want but you keep coming back and that is why people consider you are Spamming // people consider it spam because they are aggressive and because they haven’t read all the details I wrote, like you
- There are members here that fully understand racing and vehicle performance and yet there does not seem to be a lot of posts saying what a wonderful device you are promoting // I’m not interested to receive “a lot of posts saying what a wonderful device” (some of them even did it) but to see reasoned opinions about gained timing (also explained this several times, but yet another proof that you do not read the thread and just focused to be aggressive)
But, why lose time to write in this thread, simply skip it and find other passions
Fully agree, thanks! I think those guys have a lot of time and don’t know what to do with it…sadly
PS: Sorry for not replying in time. Being a new member, the number of posts are limited per day.
But do they know how this device is suppose to work?
It’s NOT very sophisticated. The programming of the ECU is NOT changed. The programming reads inputs from all the sensors and then does a lookup in a table containing values that determines how to set things like air and fuel mix. What these chips provide is a new table with different values based on input. These chips are designed to give better performance at the upper RPM range…marginal at best. Performance/Price ratio is EXTREMELY low.
You didn’t say you ran more then one test. If you want people to not question your testing methods then you should supply all the parameters.
Well, not a REASONABLE price! … These cars exist and are going to auction. Low mile, unmolested turbo Supras (30-60K miles) have been selling in the 90 to 120K range at auction lately. They are very hot right now.
Same for Grand Nationals and GNXs. Low mile, barely driven cars going for big money. And 8 mile GNX went for $200K! Crazy money!
More SPAM. And just about impossible to believe.
If the tuning chip doesn’t care about emissions, then noticeable gains are indeed possible.
Time to stop feeding the TROLL.
It would also be a good time to close this thread.
Seems only “Ask Someone” threads can be closed, when closed they disappear.
Raising the boost by a few pounds will produce that much of gain in power or more. How is that SPAM?
Just wondering what kind of vehicle OP has. auto or manual? stock or other mods.
Keep wondering op has been asked but for some strange reason refuses to answer.
the car is stock and have DCT automatic gearbox
you are losing time here, find another thread to occupy your time

the car is stock and have DCT automatic gearbox
That tells us nothing about the car need year make model what engine and how many miles on it.
did you manually shift? if so did you do it each time at the same RPM?

Time to stop feeding the TROLL.
A troll is a person that hangs around provoking others and has nothing to offer.
those details are not needed, 1 second less remain the same, no matter car/model/year make/engine, please understand, we are talking about timing
This discussion is different for a Yugo than it is for a Ferrari. Your refusal to disclose your car’s ID is baffling.
