Trying to figure what I need and how much it would cost to fix this theres a bolt sticking out through the strut mount I think the shock is seized or something but every little bump the bolt hits up underneath the wiper right now we have that vehicle parked just trying to price it out

What’s probably happened is, the valving inside the strut has failed and strut rod can no longer move up and down. This then causes the upper strut bearing to be pounded out from the shock from the front suspension takes
This will make the vehicle ride like a buckboard.
