World's Ugliest Car (in production)

One word: Avalanche.

Concur. There’s a difference between noticeably ugly and soul-suckingly anonymous.

This! I came here, created an account specifically to respond to this question after hearing the program today.

This is the absolute ugliest thing I have seen on the road in ages.

TOUCHE!!! Great point. Though many inventors worked on self-propelled conveyances since the mid-1700’s, the first that we would recognize as an automobile was demonstrated by Trouve in Paris in 1881. It was electric. Funny how things go full circle. And the word ‘automobile’ was first derived in France.

Yes? No? Maybe so?

It is cute enough, but can I use it on the golf cart on the course?

One vote for Isuzu’s VehiCross. Double Ugly and the name is stupid too. Only a douche would drive one.

I must be getting old because all of the new Chrysler products look great to me. Sebring is consistently rated as one of the worst value cars on the road and I still love the way it looks. Same with Dodge Challenger and Charger.

I live in an apartment complex. We many large black dumpsters on the property for garbage disposal. I walked out to the dumpster. It looked a bit odd, but what the heck, I tried to pull down the top and toss in the trash…but something was very wrong…it would not open. I explored…to my great amusement, it was a Hummer 3t with a slanted cab and handle in the back…now THAT’S an ugly car. I did finally find the dumpster. Why would someone actively seek out a car that looks like a dumpster?

The Hummer H2 & H3 are the Automotive equivalent of California Roll Sushi.
The California Roll is for culinary wimps who wish to pretend they’re eating sushi without actually eating sushi.
The H2 & H3 are essentially pickup trucks made worse by boxy unaerodynamic bodies which translates into a bigger gas guzzler

Porsche Panamera ranks right up there. Great toadlike, squatty thing. Ungainly from almost any angle. Looks worse than the pictures, which is usually not the case.

Woow very good design!!! I dont find this ugly.

Because they couldn’t afford the H1 or H2? :stuck_out_tongue:

They’re trying to make the baby Hummer look like its big brother.

FAIL!!!

I saw my first Cube on the road. It wasn’t so bad. It seems that cars are trending toward looking like giant toys, something that you’d constuct from Duplo blocks or that Fisher Price would make. Since many people call their cars their toys, it follows.

Has anyone suggested the accord crosstour? I don’t mind the accord sedan–well, I bought one…but the crosstour I think is pretty awkward looking. I guess it might not win an ugly prize, though.
