Hi my wire came out of my connector.
Any ideas on how to put the wire back in to the connector?
It’s a single wire.

It’s a single wire.
I’ve never seen that particular connector but look for a small hole on the side, front surface, etc, sized appx that you could poke a paper clip into. That might release a tab that will allow you to reinsert the wire.
You’ll need some sort of connector pin tool.
This will allow the pin to be removed from the connector so the wire can be reattached to the pin.

There’s many different pin-release designs. It’s pretty common for a connector to require a hollow tube to release the mechanism rather than a solid cylinder (like a paper clip).
Well I pulled up on the white tab which I guess is the lock. Then I just stick a piece of metal up on this on the metal piece and push up?
Thanks for the help guys
You might call a few parts stores to see if they have a pigtail that you can just splice in and be done with it, or google the connector you need and order one… Or go to a junk yard and cut one off another vehicle and splice it in…
Next you will be asking which connector tool you need and then how to use it…
Another vote for performing a proper repair with a new pigtail
Thanks guys. I ordered the connector with the pigtail for about $10.
I figured out how to do it. In case anyone else comes across this issue.
Pull that white piece up with a thin flat blade screw driver. Then pull the white piece out with your hand out of the black connector.
Where the white piece was there is a little black tab. Using screw driver push it up, then at the same time use some other screw driver to push the metal piece of the connector out, and there you go.
It seems that the metal connector, once crimped cannot be un-crimped. So I think you have to buy a bunch of the metal terminal connector thingies, and then buy a crimping tool.
Reinsert wire into new metal connector thingy. Crimp it with the crimping tool and reinsert it back into the black plastic connector.
Reinstall the white plastic piece.
The crimping tool plus the metal terminals probably cost more than just the pigtail. However if you do a lot of wire repair and need to replace connectors. Probably more cost effective to buy the crimping tool plus metal terminal things in bulk.
Also this wire is in a very tight area. I could try getting a soldering iron up in there but it might be difficult. Can anyone recommend a more easier way to securely connect the two wires if I can’t get a soldering iron in the area.
