Why is my blinker blinking so fast?

My 2005 Saturn Ion has a new problem. The left blinker, ONLY the left one, is blinking about three times the speed it used to. So far, the only repairs to the car have been to replace the computer and replace the window motor on the driver’s side. Anyone else ever seen this happen? Do I need to take it in? Thanks, kim

Usually that’s a symptom of a burnt out bulb (which changes the impedance of the system). Check all the directional light bulbs.

More like a shorted bulb or connector. Check the blinkers visually.

You probably have a burned out turn signal bulb. Turn the “blinkers” on and check them to see if one is not working.
