Hi all,
Just bought an 05 Hyundai Santa Fe w/16K miles and have stumped the local dealer. Problem is, when I make a right turn (only right!), and then straighten the steering wheel, I hear a loud grind (well, somewhere btw a grind and a rub) underneath on the right side. It stops once the wheels are straight.
Any ideas on where to start looking for the origin of the problem?
Thx!
I’d start looking at all the plastic fender liners and trim around the front suspension and steering components. Look for evidence of them being rubbed by a tire or steering component, or of them rubbing against each other.
