Were the '80s that long ago? Dodge Raider question

Hello,



I have a 1989 Dodge Raider that died on me a month ago. My mechanic said my fuel sending unit is broken, and he couldn’t find another one. I’ve googled and googled, I’ve worked with the biggest car dealer in town – no luck.



Does anyone know of another way to approach this? Or a website that has parts from 20-some years ago?

Have you checked with a Mitsubishi dealer? They made the Raider for Dodge, sold their version as a Montero, I believe.

What exact sending unit? Has your mechanic checked the rockauto.com parts site?

Thanks for responding. My mechinic called Mitsubishi and struck out. I don’t know about rockauto, so I will check that out today.
