I was driving my '94 Trooper today and it made a weird screeching noise which I am wondering if someone could help clerify for me. It happened when I let the clutch out and proceeded to start moving after a red light. It was extremely hot today so I had the AC on which I have never used before so I’m starting to wonder if it was the AC that made the noise?
Any guesses towards the description of my symptoms would be greatly appreciated.
The screeching noise might have come from a worn/loose AC compressor belt.
Have drive belts inspected to see if they’re due for replacement.
