Water damage due to manufacture defect, "fixed" but still smell mold

Hi all. I have a 2010 Honda Civic. Two months ago, it started smelling moldy inside. Then, after a huge rainfall, I opened the rear door to find a puddle. Took it to the dealer, and they found that the waterproofing membrane in the door was not corretnly installed, allowing the leak.

They replace the carpeting, padding, and membrane, but the car still smells like mold.

What, if anything, can I do?

Did you give the dealer another crack at the problem? Perhaps the seat filling or the inside of the door got wet.

If the dealer truly can’t find it, maybe one of those environmental testing places would have more luck tracking down the location of the mold.

I’d push the dealer to fix the problem or pay for the problem to be fixed. If they can’t get it right, study the lemon laws for your state.
