Turn signals on my VW Bug (2001) stopped working - along with the hazard lights (same) - first they were cutting out after one flash. I checked the fuse and although it looked OK I changed it - zoom back to normal for about five uses; then just one flash, then nothing - Any ideas?
Replace the flasher unit.

The flasher unit and the hazard light switch are one in the same. It’s a common for these to act up. Often times, unplugging the hazard switch and plugging it back in “resets” the flasher and fixes the problem.
