We have a 2000 volvo xc wagon. Recently the sunroof has began to open automatically when we start the car … then the other day it opened while I was driving. We live in Seattle and this was fine in the summer … now i get rained on inside my car 
Any ideas??
Maybe a faulty switch.
Get it closed and pull the related fuse.
it’s the same fuse for the windows and door locks. should we try replacing the fuse ?
If that fuse works with the door locks and windows it will be good.
Check out the switch and the wiring to the sunroof motor. There may be a loose or corroded connection.
