I drive a 1998 4 door accord(automatic transmission) with 134,000 miles on it, tonight when I parked me car on the street by my house I set accidently turned off the car without putting it in park or the parking break on , what makes this notable is that the keys came out without any effort on my part, which shouldn’t happen. Also, when I put the emergency break on I realized I could shift gears even though the break was on, also a problem, any ideas?
That sounds like a problem with the ignition locking… It doesnt sound like anything too important.

The parking brake sets the brakes on the rear wheels to prevent the car from moving. It does not have any connection to the transmission or the shift linkage. As Transman says, your problem is probably in the ignition locking system.
