my truck starts fine when it is cold, but when it the tempurature warms up it dies when idling. usually when i slow down to stop at a stop sign or when i try to start it when it is already warm. timing problem?? change spark plugs??
What year pickup and/or is it carbureted or fuel injected?
1992 4 cyl. with fuel injection
First how old are those spark plugs and the wires? I doubt if they are the problem, but if they are due, then change them.
I would tend towards the coil or whatever passes for one. They can become heat sensitive.im not sure when they were changed last but they are probably due. 220K miles but i have put only 30K on it
