Toyota pickup engine dies when warm

my truck starts fine when it is cold, but when it the tempurature warms up it dies when idling. usually when i slow down to stop at a stop sign or when i try to start it when it is already warm. timing problem?? change spark plugs??

What year pickup and/or is it carbureted or fuel injected?

1992 4 cyl. with fuel injection

First how old are those spark plugs and the wires? I doubt if they are the problem, but if they are due, then change them.

I would tend towards the coil or whatever passes for one. They can become heat sensitive.

im not sure when they were changed last but they are probably due. 220K miles but i have put only 30K on it
