It certainly is. But Milka has more curves. But both are lovely ladies.
The episode where the truck was racing the parachutist was a bit interesting but the concept of a truck/parachutist racing was a bit difficult to grasp. If we are going to vote on women for the show I kinda like Bretts “photo reciepient” I know she has nothing to do with cars but does that matter? she does have excellent communication skills.
I think Tim Allen may have been on their short list. But I’m pretty sure Kenny Wallace wasn’t as he still actively competes in NASCAR and the scheduling would likely prove difficult to deal with. I do think Leno is the choice for the show, but he apparently, and perhaps, rightfully, though that an American version of the show would never work due to the constraints that advertising brings, both in terms of what you can and can’t say on TV without risking offended the advertisers and the time constraints as well.
IMHO. I feel there is absolutely no reason to have a U.S version, Seeing that there is not a language barrier between the U.K and the U.S
There actually is a reason for a US version, simply because many of the cars shown on the UK version are not available in the US! Some of those European cars are a mere fantasy for those of us on the other side of the pond.
I think that a US version is a really good idea, but unfortunately the way that it is presented makes the US version a veritable snooze-fest that deserves to go off the air after this season is finished. Perhaps if it was revived with hosts who actually have likeable personalities, another attempt might be successful.
I hope that History Channel looks at these criticisms and uses them to improve next season’s show.
Doubt it. Even if they do, it’ll probably get boring after the 2nd or 3rd season.
I remember Ice Road Truckers being a good show, but I stopped watching it by the middle of the 3rd season. I think it’s mostly how the announcer is like “If they don’t shift into a different gear, they could slide off the edge of the road and crash.” commercial break “the driver successfully engages the gear and keeps heading on”. After awhile, I got to thinking, if they really DID crash, I doubt they’d show it on TV
“I got to thinking, if they really DID crash, I doubt they’d show it on TV”
They did show crashes in India and South America - and in the Great White North. No bodies in Canada or Alaska, though.
