I just put in a new thermostat into a 1999 Ford Explorer. No problems but radiator fluid is now leaking from the seam in the housing.
I had a new o-ring with the new thermostat. Is there supposed to be a separate o-ring or gasket that is supposed to be in the housing itself? I didn’t notice one when it was off.
