How are the sway bar links removed from a 1995 Chevy Tahoe? Does the sway bar actually get removed or loosened or is there a secret to get the bottom end of the link bolt aligned with the access hole in the bottom of the torsion bar so that a socket can be applied?
You may need to get a floor jack under the control arm and move it up and down until everything lines up.
not sure if you understood GJ’s suggestion. these are two seperate lifts. you need to jack up and support the truck on a jack stand. this has to be high enough to reposition the jack under the control arm to lift lower or wiggle the arm so the sway bar link can be manipulated to get it at the correct height in relation to getting the “load” off the connections.
