This is not looking the same, no openings, and much larger.
Is it possible that an aftermarket audio system was installed, and that the folks at the dealership arenāt familiar with that system?
Why does it only make noise after 60 mph?
Because the air isnāt going fast enough to make it vibrate below 60 mph.
This is not air noises it sounds like a cable hitting the cover of the the back box.
IIRC Ray & Tom discussed this car on a recent podcast. Ray said while it wasnāt particularly attractive, on the plus-side it was inexpensive, easy to work on, and as long as it received the proper routine maintenance, quite reliable.
Although the manufacturer built the car for low maintenance or cost, Limon can happen for any maker!
