Stablizer bars and Sway Bar Link Kits

I have a 2002 Sebring LXI convertible. At a recent checkup the mechanic suggested Sway Bar Link Kits and replacing the F Stabilizer bar. Why should stablizer bars have to be replaced in a car with 118,000 miles. What happens if I don’t replace it?

Stabilizer bars last forever. It’s the end links and bushings that wear out. Unless the stabilzer bar eye where the end link connects is rusted out, there’s no reason to replace it.

But if you do have to replace the links see if there is an option with grease fittings.

The originals lasted for 118K. That is very good. Do you think that aftermarket replacements will last longer than that?
