I have a 95 civic ex while driving slowly i can hear my car make squeaky sound, but when i apply the brake the sound goes away or stop. what possibly the problem and how i go about fix it? Thank you very much for help
If you were to describe the squeaky sound better that would help a lot but I’ll bet that you need brakes. Brake pads normally have a “warning strip” attached to them. When the pads get too low the warning strip rubs on the rotor and makes a really annoying high pitched squeal. It stops when you apply the brakes b/c the pressure stops the strip from vibrating. Have someone look at your brakes.
