I have a 1990 Mitsubishi Mighty Max that squeaks like you’re opening a screen door whenever it goes over bumps. Is this just because the old or do I need to get it to a shop to fix something?
Depends on where the squeaking is coming from. That chassis does require lubrication, so if no one’s done it for a long time, that could be your answer.
Lots of possibilities, yes, you need to take it to a shop, let them put it on the rack and visually inpsect. It will likely be a strut or suspension bushing problem, if you are lucky maybe only needing a squirt of lube to rectify.
