My car sometimes makes a popping noise in the front end when I turn the wheel particularly from cold and at low speeds. I suspect the struts but what else could it be? There is no change in steering effort or feel and effort is low. Also, it squeaks and can make similar noises going over bumps. Cv’s are good.
Worned stabilizer end links can do this.
Most likely cause for squeaking: struts.
Most likely cause for popping: struts,lower ball joint, control arm bushing, tie rod end or slight possibility of CV joint. A mechanic can identify these within minutes upon inspection.
What year and model is it still under warranty?
