How can I have my turn indicator make a higer decible or more distinctive clicking noise? My retired ears may have lost some of their sound sensitivity. [Car is a 2008 Boxster]
There is no volume control. The clicking is from the flasher itself. It is an internal metal part the flexes providing the click. I have not heard/seen of a loud flasher in more than 23 years.
My son has a Ford Focus. It has the loudest turn signal flasher I’ve ever heard. If it were mine I’d be looking for something less noisy. Perhaps the flasher from the Focus will fit your Boxster.
Isn’t there an indicator light that flashes on the dashboard when the turn signal is operating? Can your retired eyes see it?
