The youtube talked about the silicon atom combining with the oxygen atom in water to activate it which kinda made me wonder a little.
At any rate you can choose to wax or not but might be surprised at the shine compared to the no wax. On mine I can see the difference with each successive step. In 1961 Chevy said their new Acrylic Lacquer finish never needed waxing. A far cry from the new finishes but still I waxed the 61 Chevy.
