My cars ses code came up PO717. My question, do I need this speed sensor? Where is it located, and is it easy to fix, repair or replace if it is infact needed?
Code P0717 indicates Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit No Signal.
The turbine speed sensor measures the rotation of the turbine of the torque converter so the sensor is mounted on the transaxle. It just requires the proper size socket to replace the sensor.

Besides The PO717 And Probably A “Check Engine Light” Or “Service Engine Soon” Warning, Does The Car Exhibit Any Unusual Symptoms That Weren’t Present Prior To This ?
There were no other codes, just the PO717 ?
Was the code cleared and the SES/CEL turned off and are you still driving the car ?
