During cold temperatures (below 30 F) my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee bottoms out when I drive over very small bumps at slow speed. Sounds like a plastic scrapng noise. Changed the shocks but did not fix the problem. Mechanic cannot find problem… Any ideas whatcould be causing this?
It’s not “bottoming out”. What is most likely causing the noise is the front (or rear) stabilizer (anti-sway bar) bushings.
