Turns out Saab parts have been handled by a different company than the bankrupt manufacturer, and Saab Automobile Parts AB is working to establish a distribution system in the US:

I’ve never been a big fan of Saab but I guess this is great news for Saab owners everywhere.
I have a friend who owns/owned a saab dealer and he said he just started to get parts again. This company was spun off durring the bankruptsy, and as you said is independent now of saab automobiles.
