hello ladies and germs, i have a 2003 hyundai elantra gls 2.0 manual transmission.
about 4,ooo miles ago i got my CV joints replaced with rebuilt units. since then my car has been experiencing a vibrating, whirring resonance noise between 3,000 and 3,500 rpm. in any gear.
not mechanical or grinding, more like a belt sander under water [?] just a low rumbling whirring noise that seems to be getting louder the more time passes.
the noise seems to be coming from the wheel well area and this morning i noticed the noise to be a lot more apparent under almost full lock while accelerating.
