That makes no sense. She loves the vehicle. The tint is somewhat of an inconvenience, not a use-denier. I didn’t mention that in my original post, because my original post was SPECIFICALLY about removing tint. You didn’t need to know why. Don’t read more into a question than you need to.
I should add that the buyers order said that she paid $199 for “tint”. Not sure if that means it was an added feature. Why did she pay that? Because that’s the car that was on the lot. No choice.
Well no need to get testy. The folks are just trying to get the full picture. You were told how to easily determine if a film has been applied to the inside. If so a shop can remove it. I just assume the two front side windows are all that would matter. The windshield would come with a light factory tint and nothing can be done about that.
Now just having my eyes examined, having lenses replaced in the eyes is done all the time now. A few hours and up and about. One eye at a time though since nothing is a sure thing.
That is the nature of Forums because if people knew you wife had vision problems it might have eliminated a lot of questions.
You said there was a charge of 299.00 which is most likely a dealer addon . You also have been told how to see if the windows do have a tint added to them-have you done that ?
Sorry for pushing your buttons, but sometimes people ask questions outside of the initial question to better help with an answer (right or wrong) just incase the OP hadn’t thought of something…
You came on a forum and asked a question, the forum members were only trying to help you the best they could with the info you gave them, everything else was just thinking outside the box so to speak and sometimes those are the best answers you can get…
So to answer your question, as someone that has removed my share of tint years ago, take it to a tint shop and pay them to remove it, I don’t know about the newer tint, but the stuff years ago sucked to remove…
