Redex Diesel Cleaner in Adblue Tank

Hi

I hope someone can help on this forum as I cannot find any details to do with this online.

I added Redex Diesel Cleaner in to the Adblue tank yesterday and realised the accident I had made. I have a 2019 Peugeot 3008 2L GT.

I couldn’t find any answers online as to whether the tank needs to be cleaned out or as it’s the adblue tank and it is the diesel cleaner from Redex, this might go through with normal driving problem free.

Roughly speaking there’s 60ml of diesel cleaner with 12 litres of adblue.

Any help would be really appreciated.

That stuff is suppose to go in the fuel tank, not the urea tank.

Get it out of the urea tank before the system has to be replaced.

drain the tank before it tries to do a regen. if you do it soon, you shouldn’t have to do anything further, other that refilling with adblue/urea.
