My lovely 5 year old DD was playing yesterday and pulled down the rear wiper arm on our 08 Toyota Sienna. Now when you turn on the switch it cleans the back of the van, not the window. My DH is very upset with me for “letting” DD play on the car. I put the arm back up, but it just returns to upside down. Are there any solutions or am I in the doghouse?
When the wiper arm was pulled down, it probably striped out the splines of the wiper arm. Flip up the cover on the wiper arm that covers the mounting nut and remove the nut and the wiper arm. Take the wiper arm to a parts store, and they can probably match you up with a replacement.
