the rear view mirror fell off. it has this liquid stuff inside for auto-dimming at night. Since replacing, the liquid has shifted, forming obstructions in the viewing area.
Time to bite the bullet and buy a new assembly or remove the liquid and view the mirror normal with no auto dim.
I agree with Ken. I’ll add that the last time I had to replace a mirror assembly I had one ordered through VIP’s “crash catalig” (that’s what the guy at the counter called it). It was far less expensive than anywhere else and was a perfect replacement.
