RadioSahck 12v Power supply connect to Car Subwoofer

I tried to hook this up, but I cannot get the amp to turn on

Not sure what did I miss

Either pwr supply is bad?
Amp is bad?
All fuses are good?
Your meter shows 12v at amp connector?
Bad signal fron HU source?
Where is blue 12v on lead from hu to amp?

You have the ground wire connected to the remote connector. Move the black wire to the GND connector.

Switch the leads on the power supply as well. It looks like the red wire is attached to the negative, or ground, terminal and not the black wire.

At the amp you need to connect the black wire to GND
At the amp you also need a short wire to connect +12V to REM to each other

And with a 40 Watt/1.? amp power supply, it’ not even close to being big enough to run your amp.

Got it!

I think I need a bigger power supply

You got that right! It says 40W max, the amp says 500W max output.

500W is peak, only 300W rms. Read someone online had it tested- real world more like 175W. Supply is still underpowered but should run the amp/sub up until it’s limit is reached if wired correctly.

Who did the crimps on the spade terminals? Insulation should be tucked inside and captured by the outer band of the crimp sleeve.
The supply wire gauge looks on the smaller side as well.
